French Island, Wisconsin
French Island is a census-designated place (CDP) in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 4,207 at the 2010 census.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://factfinder2.census.gov/main.html )〕 It lies on an island of a similar name, with which it is not coextensive; most of the island is part of the city of La Crosse, but all are part of the La Crosse Metropolitan Statistical Area. French Island is part of the Town of Campbell and contains all of its population, because the balance of Campbell is uninhabited.

French Island is located at (43.857215, -91.262818).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.383 square miles (6.171 km²), of which, 1.998 square miles (5.174 km²) of it is land and 0.385 square miles (0.997 km²) of it (16.16%) is water. The entire island's land area is 11.781 km² (4.5487 sq mi).
